Outbreak of Measles in IDP Camps

According to the recent report documented by SWDC health workers with the support of social workers reported more than 250 children were effected on the recent outbreak of measles in Daynille, Kahda and Dharkenley district respectively.

Out of 250, 10 of them died, 180 are still recovering at the Community Based child protection Centers in the hotspots while the 60 remaining were referred the relevant medical stakeholders on the ground.

In response to these effect SWDC Field teams delivered sensitization sessions in the effected places aforementioned areas.
